India Xmas
Merry Christmas!
There are signs of the holiday here, but they are nothing compared to the big buildup in the US. Which makes it a lot nicer, actually. I am more inclined to feel Christmas-y without it being shoved down my throat everywhere I turn.

Hanna - We'll be missing you today. We have snow and mistletoe and presents under the tree. We'll be making coffee and sausage casserole and cooking a beautiful prime rib and a sweet, creamy cranberry cake, and sipping champagne all day. Everyone loves you and we will hold you in our hearts today (and every day).
Love, Mom
Hanna, I'm at my brother Mike's house messing around. We (Mom, Mike, Donna & I) had a good Christmas, but we celebrated it on Christmas Eve. It felt the same. I had the honor of cooking dinner. I have to say, I did a good job. It's a shame that your plans keep being changed, but I know that you make the best out of all situations. I should be home by January 4th. So far, no snow. I look forward to seeing you in January. Something is missing around here, and it's you.
Love, Dad
