Your blogs about your journey are interesting as are the photos. My friends are still asking me about you. I reminded Paul that you had sent him the links to your blog. (We were all at Yummy Yummy's). I was told how wonderful you are, again! Lew Mitchell is coming into town on Sunday. I am leaving for Wyoming on Monday for Thanksgiving with Nile and Jenny.
I am glad to know that things are proceeding as expected, for the most part. How are you going to spend the extra week? Or is that explained in your last blog?
I am missing you, but that is silly.
The Mason Jar Blues
I want a pickle from my grandmother’s pantry— a home grown cucumber with dill and vinegar, a wedge of garlic. I want the witchcraft of boiled water and circles on dish rags—the silence disrupted by popping as each jar seals. I want the dark green glow of jars in rows, the thrill of theft, and the sweet sour flavor non-kosher or kosher oh yeah
